![]() ![]() The main soundtrack Auditory Hallucinations by Jang Jae In (feat. It is worth watching to see Ji Sung’s amazing performance as the seven characters which are all so unique. The whole series is worth watching the whole way through at least once though. We would happily watch the first twelve episodes again, but probably not the last half of the series over again. Perry Park‘s send-off was particularly so. We do like the end with the send off of the personalities, though. Thinking about it now, it was a twist that we found made the plot feel anti-climatic. The last half of the series when more of the story is revealed and we learn how everything is connected was not as exciting as the first half, but it still had its hold (just not a firm one) as the series reveals a small twist in the story relating to Cha Do Hyun and Oh Ri Jin‘s pasts. There was also the threat of Shin Se Gi wanting to take over Cha Do Hyun as the main personality as well. There was so much to anticipate in the story: the revelation of Cha Do Hyun‘s different personalities, Shin Se Gi‘s love for Oh Ri Jin and how this will work as he isn’t the main personality, and what connection Oh Ri Jin has with Cha Do Hyun and his past. This series was a particularly fantastic watch between the first and twelth episode. She is drawn to help heal Cha Do Hyun, get close with all his personalities and work to try heal him by ‘merging’ his personality into a whole again. She’s chosen to be by his side to keep Cha Do Hyun‘s other personalities at bay as he works to gain control of Seung Jin Group. Oh Ri Jin (Hwang Jung Eum), a first-year resident psychiatrist, is brought in to help Cha Do Hyun as his secret physician shortly after she discovers Cha Do Hyun‘s different personalities. This traumatic experience broke up Cha Do Hyun‘s personality into its parts. The personalities are the result of a traumatic experience in Cha Do Hyun‘s childhood which involved a basement, a fire and an abusive father. Inside Cha Do Hyun are six other personalities: violent Shin Se Gi, bomb expert Perry Park, the suicidal Ahn Yo Seob, sassy teen girl Ahn Yo Na, little girl Nana and Mr X. Whenever his emotions rise and he’s under some kind of stress, different kinds of personalities come out. The story is about chaebol Cha Do Hyun (Ji Sung) who lives with seven different personalities inside of him. There have been dramas out there with where it focuses on multiple personalities in the past, but probably not one that features seven (at least, as far as we’re aware of). The new novel he is writing appears to link in Cha Do Hyun’s past… and even his own.Kill Me, Heal Me is the first Korean drama that caught our attention for 2015. It seems that Oh Ri Ohn has been following Cha Do Hyun for a long time, tracking him and his relations in a complicated flow chart. ![]() However, he has a darker side that is slowly being revealed. From telling the airport his sister is “ill” because she’s so angry at him that she was about to reveal his identity as the popular murder mystery author, to telling someone that he heard that the same author was as handsome as Won Bin, he really is the comic relief of the show. One of the things that drew me into the show right away was Oh Ri Ohn. However, the way they interact feels so comfortable that you would think they actually were siblings! On the other hand, it was just recently hinted at that even this relationship isn’t all as it seems! 5. The chemistry between the “twins”.Įveryone always talks about the chemistry between the main couples of a drama, but what about the other characters? The chemistry between Park Seo Joon and Hwang Jung Eum‘s characters is of course not romantic. Not to mention that Jang Jae In’s voice is simply beautiful. The latter’s rap starts out the song, and that is what caught my attention right away. The song, “Auditory Hallucinations,” is sung by Jang Jae In featuring NaShow. The moment I heard this OST, I was scrambling to find out who it was. From calm Cha Do Hyun, to cruel Shin Se Gi, to wacky Parry Park, to suicidal teenager Ahn Yo Sub, Ji Sung has already begun to cover a wide area of personality spectrum. Ji Sung is not only portraying one character and one personality, but a total of seven! With four of the personalities revealed so far, Ji Sung has already proved that he can handle each of them in their own respect. ![]() When you think of a love triangle, it’s usually the girl with the main guy and the second lead syndrome guy, right? Well Ji Sung gets to play both! Cha Do Hyun the level-headed “main” character and Shin Se Gi the cruel personality that can be controlled by our heroine, Oh Ri Jin. With the halfway point of “ Kill Me, Heal Me” on the horizon, here are some reasons to check it out if you haven’t already! 1. ![]()
